Canon has released firmware update v 1.0.5 for its Canon EOS 30D digital SLR. The software update makes a semi-gloss paper option available in the camera settings when printing directly from the camera, and fixes a bug which caused the displayed number of continuous shots left to be taken to increase when images were deleted. The firmware update only applies to those cameras with firmware versions up to 1.0.4 already installed.
