Last week at the PhotoPlus Expo, LowPro announced the release of their latest camera backpack, the SlingShot 300 AW. The backpack is specifically designed to accommodate professional digital SLR camera bodies with zoom lenses and up to six additional lenses, flash units, memory cards and personal accessories. Like the SlingShot 100 and 200 before it, the SlingShot 300 AW can be accessed by simply rotating it from the back to the front of the body. The new backpack, however, is slightly larger than its predecessors, allowing the storage of additional digital accessories such as cables, adaptors, and memory cards. The SlingShot 300 AW also has an All Weather cover to keep out the elements, and a micro fiber LCD cloth to safeguard the camera's LCD screen from scratches and other potential damage.

SlingShot 300 AW Provides Larger Capacity Plus Waist Belt for Efficient Weight Distribution

Just like the SlingShot 100 AW and 200 AW camera bags, designed for sports photographers and photojournalists who need quick access to gear, the new 300 AW allows photographers to go from "carry mode" to "ready mode" in seconds. Without removing the bag, simply rotate or "sling" the bag toward the front of the body. The SlingShot 300 AW then provides complete access to cameras, lenses, memory cards and other accessories.
