At a press event in Korea this past week, Pentax brought forth a little known relic from its past: the limited edition Pentax LX Gold. The odd-looking camera from 1981 was displayed next to a brand new Pentax K10D. Plated in 18 carat gold and partially covered with snake-skin patterned brown leather, the camera nearly stole the show. The camera was created to celebrate the sale of Pentax's ten-millionth SLR camera. If you love the look, you may be hard pressed to find one; only 300 Pentax Gold's were ever created.
