The Epson Stylus Photo R2400 Printer is one of Epson's premier photo printers, designed specifically for the advanced amateur and professional photographer. The R2400 uses the 8-color Epson UltraChrome K3 inks with three levels of black (black, light black and light-light black). This gradation produces superb black and white photographs. The inks are pigment-based and can last up to 200 years. The printer supports a variety of paper types, including matte, glossy, canvas, roll, posterboard, and several different types of artist papers. It can print photos up to 13-inches wide and 44-inches long. The Epson Stylus R2400 currently retails for about $750.
