GE Offers First Digital Camera, the G1
On Monday General Imaging, the worldwide exclusive licensee for GE-branded digital cameras, offered the first GE camera, the G1, on the Home Shopping Network (HSN). The G1 digital camera boasts a 7.1-megapixel
image sensor, 3X zoom, and a2.5-inch LCD display. "The GE digital camera line is a very special product that we believe will generate considerable interest with our viewers," said Sandy Conrad, senior vice president with HSN. "Our shoppers will immediately recognize the venerable GE brand for its long-standing reputation for quality and value. These cameras live up to that brand promise." The camera will sell for $199.96.
