Canon today released firmware update version 1.1.0 for the Canon Digital Rebel XTi / 400D digital SLR camera. The firmware update includes two primary fixes and improvements:

1. Adds support for the new Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) USB protocol.
2. Corrects errors in the Simplified Chinese menu screens.
   
   

This firmware update is designed for cameras that currently use firmware version 1.0.5 or older. You can learn more and download the update here.
