Later this month, Olympus, Matsushita Electric Industrial Co.
(Panasonic) and Sigma will release a catalog showcasing exchangeable
lenses for digital SLRs based on the Four Thirds System standard. The
Four Thirds is an open standard, which means that users can mix and
match camera bodies and lenses from different manufacturers. The
catalog will contain 40 full-color pages of information, diagrams and
test photos, providing a clear and detailed analysis of the 24
exchangeable lenses produced by the three companies.
The
jointly created Four Thirds catalog will be released in Japan in late
September, and should be made available during Photokina 2006. An
