Later this month, Olympus, Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. (Panasonic) and Sigma will release a catalog showcasing exchangeable lenses for digital SLRs based on the Four Thirds System standard. The Four Thirds is an open standard, which means that users can mix and match camera bodies and lenses from different manufacturers. The catalog will contain 40 full-color pages of information, diagrams and test photos, providing a clear and detailed analysis of the 24 exchangeable lenses produced by the three companies.

The jointly created Four Thirds catalog will be released in Japan in late September, and should be made available during Photokina 2006. An electronic version of the catalog can be found at:  http://www.four-thirds.org/en/
