Canon EOS lenses at Photokina
If you stop by the Canon booth at Photokina you'll be sure to see a
display with a huge assortment of interchangeable EF lenses for the
Canon EOS dSLR camera system. Canon has produced over 30 million of
these lenses, making them one of the most popular series of SLR lenses
ever. The popular EF mount was first made available in 1987, and has
since incorporated several important upgrades and innovations,
including image stabilization, weather sealing, and improved focus
systems.

Today there are over 50 EF lenses available with focal lengths ranging from 14 to 600mm. Photographers can choose from a wide variety of macro, telephoto, fisheye, and image stabilization lenses.
