The Samsung NV10 compact digital camera, with a 10.1-megapixel CCD sensor, 2.5-inch LCD display, built-in pop-up flash, lens starting at f2.8, and an ISO up to 1000, is one of an entire generation of new super-compacts offering much higher resolution and photo quality than ever before.

On the back of the camera, along side the 2.5-inch LCD color display, is the new Smart Touch feature, which allows users to interact with the camera's menu system simply by touching (not pushing) a series of buttons. The NV10 uses a Schneider-KREUZNACH lens for superior quality images. To provide natural-looking photos, the lens has multiple coatings to minimize ghost or flare effects. The NV10 is also equipped with an advanced shake reduction (ASR) system that helps produce sharper images under low-light conditions.

Like most compacts, the Samsung NV10 can record MPEG-4 (640x480 at 30fps) and TVD (720x480 at 20fps) videos. You can also view and edit your movies right on the camera. Finally, the NV10 has 11 pre-programmed scene modes: night scene, portrait, children, landscape, text recognition, sunset, dawn, backlight, fireworks, beach and snow.
