Canon is offering mail-in rebates from $10 to $300 on select products, including $300 on the 12.8 megapixel EOS 5D digital SLR with a full frame CMOS sensor, and the advanced yet affordable EOS 30D digital SLR. Select EF lenses such as the versatile new EF 24 -105mm f/4L IS USM and Speedlite flashes like the powerful 580EX also qualify for the rebate. Users can also get up to $100 back on select IS (Image Stabilizer) Binoculars such as the rugged 10x42 L IS waterproof binoculars.

Consumers will also have the chance to double savings when purchasing different eligible Canon items, to help further expand and build a powerful EOS system. When buying an EOS 5D Digital SLR and a select Canon EF lens, consumers can get up to $700 back. Consumers can also save up to $230 when buying the EOS 30D kit that includes the flexible EF-S 17-85 IS USM lens.

To claim the mail-in-rebate, purchases must be made at an authorized Canon U.S.A. dealer from October 15, 2006 through January 13, 2007. Customers must complete and submit the following to be postmarked by February 15, 2007; rebate form, a copy of the sales receipt with price paid, dealer name, qualifying Canon product model(s) and date clearly legible; a copy of the customer portion of the original Canon U.S.A. warranty card and an original cut-out of the UPC code and serial number.
